This year I’ve decided to try and make as many edible Christmas presents as possible, so I began this week by making mincemeat.

I used Delia Smith’s recipe from Delia’s Happy Christmas. The recipe is also on Delia Online (this produces a smaller amount than the recipe in the book).


I found this recipe incredibly easy to follow and when the mincemeat was in the oven my entire flat was fragranced with the beautiful scent of nutmeg and mixed spice – gorgeous. I urge you to give it a try! x
